Margaret Elaine "Peggy" Farley's Obituary
Margaret Elaine “Peggy” Farley
Peggy “Pitts Pinfish” lived a joyfully spirited life, always in touch with Nature and the hearts of all who knew her. Although cancer ended her life far too soon, our brave gal was ready to join her brother Rob and parents when the time came on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at home with her loved ones by her side.
She was born in Burbank, CA on September 5, 1955 to Virgil and Carolyn Feltner. The family moved to St Pete FL in 1962. She grew up travelling across country several times, enjoyed frequent ventures throughout the Midwest, and spent her senior HS year in Germany. Upon her return, she completed her high school education and went on to obtain her AA degree. Peggy was creative with landscape gardening, working in the past with several contractors in Maitland and the Florida Keys. She most recently was employed in the food and beverage industry as a bartender and server.
She is survived by her soul mate of 30 years, Jimmy Patton, her sisters Patricia Bailey (Larry) Eldon, MO and Nanci Hawks (Kevin) of St Petersburg FL, nephews Sean and Travis Hawks of St Petersburg, Randy Feltner of Peyton, CO and niece, Robin Shorter of Springfield, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Rob Feltner.Memorial Celebration Tuesday, Aug 27, 3:00 to 6:00 PM with Tribute to Peggy at 5:00 at Dolphin Beach Resort in the Royal Dolphin Ball Room. 4900 Gulf Blvd, St Pete Beach 33706.
