Dr. Mahmoud Mohadjer's Obituary
Dr. Mahmoud Mohadjer, was born in Iran on August 18, 1946, and passed away at the age of 79 on December 25, 2025, in Gulfport, Florida. Mahmoud retired as a Technical Fellow from the Boeing Company, and dedicated his career to aerospace engineering, a field in which he excelled and made significant contributions.
A true family man, Mahmoud deeply loved his wife of 51 years, Dr. Maryam Asdjodi-Mohadjer. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Dr. Yasaman “Jasmine” Mohadjer, and loved her husband, Donald Austin Hughes Jr., like his own son. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Donald Austin Hughes III, his only grandchild.
He leaves behind his siblings, Masoud Mohadjer and Dr. Mohsen Mohadjer, along with many cousins, nephews, nieces, an aunt, and in-laws from the Mohadjer, Faizee, Asdjodi, Shahla, Yahyavi, and Hughes families. Mahmoud was preceded in death by his brother, Mansour Mohadjer.
Mahmoud’s passion for engineering was matched by his love of science and the stock market. He enjoyed many hobbies and was always gardening, fixing, and improving things at home. He was an avid bike rider and appreciated the simple pleasure of a good cup of coffee while checking the stock market and the news.
Mahmoud’s life was a testament to his dedication to his family and his profession. He will be remembered for his deep integrity and kindness. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and the many lives he touched.
In lieu of flowers, the Mohadjer family kindly requests that donations be made to Mahmoud Mohadjer Melanoma and Mahmoud Mohadjer Pancreatic Cancer Funds at the Moffit Cancer Center.
