A true family man, Mahmoud deeply loved his wife of 51 years, Maryam Asdjodi-Mohadjer. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Yasaman "Jasmine" (Donald Austin Hughes Jr.) Mohadjer, and cherished his role as a grandfather to Donald Austin Hughes III. His family remembers him as the pillar of strength and love who always brought them together.
Mahmoud's passion for engineering was paralleled by his love for various hobbies. He was always immersed in a household project, showing his knack for fixing and improving things around him. An avid bike rider, he also had a keen interest in science and the stock market, and he appreciated the simple pleasure of a good cup of coffee.
He leaves behind his siblings Masoud Mohadjer and Mohsen Mohadjer, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and an aunt who will miss him dearly. Mahmoud was preceded in death by his brother, Mansour Mohadjer.
