Mae C. Jackson's Obituary
Mae Ciampo Jackson passed into eternal peace on Thursday, March 25th, 2021 at the Masonic Home in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
Mae was born to Salvatore Ciampo and Kathryn Westervelt Terhune Ciampo in Lodi, New Jersey in 1920.
She would become one of ten children in the family.
She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, William Ray Nolan and her second husband, John (Irish) Jackson, sisters Rose Vos and Erla DeSanto, brothers Everett Ciampo, William “Wes” Ciampo, Chester Ciampo, Donald Ciampo, Charles Ciampo and several siblings who died in infancy.
She graduated from Hackensack High School, Hackensack, New Jersey. She had many nieces and nephews.
She was employed at various occupations during her life, including the defense industry during WWII and spent many years as secretary for the Passa Grille Community Church in Pass-a- Grille, Florida.
She loved her home in Pass-a-Grille, having lived there for almost 60 years. She traveled the world but never had a driver’s license or drove a car. She was loved by family and friends and will be truly missed.
