Mabel A. Gettles' Obituary
Mabel A. Gettles, 93, of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away on October 2, 2022 at home. Mabel was born on April 25, 1929 to Edna and Clifford Harvey in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She married John D. Gettles in 1950 and moved to Pinellas Park, Florida in 1959. Together they raised one son, Michael John Gettles.
Mabel desired her final days to be at home and was cared for by her granddaughter Linda Gettles with the help of Suncoast Hospice. She lived a very independent life until a fall in 2019. She worked in the electronic component industry for TRW, Varitronix, and retired from General Electrics Pinellas County plant in the early 90’s.
She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Paula, 5 Grand children and 6 Great Grand children.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband John, a sister Tiny and brother Fran.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022 at 12pm at Memorial Park Cemetery.
