Ludovina Romero's Obituary
With deep love and gratitude for her life, the family of Ludovina Sepúlveda de Romero announces her passing into the presence of her Lord and Savior. Born on February 12, 1936, in Hormigueros, Puerto Rico, Ludovina was the beloved daughter of Clemente Sepúlveda and Margarita Carrasquillo de Sepúlveda. She is also survived by her brother, Eniovel Sepulveda and sister, Sunalem Sepulveda.
A devoted wife to Pedro Romero, Ludovina built a home filled with faith, warmth, and unwavering love. She was the cherished mother of eight children: Margarita, Elvin, Rolando, Sonia, Edward, Peter, Orlando, and Ida Lisa. Her life was a beautiful testimony of a mother’s strength, a servant’s heart, and a woman’s steadfast devotion to God.
Ludovina was gifted with a gentle spirit and a poet’s soul. Moved and inspired by the Lord she loved so deeply, she wrote heartfelt Christian poetry—offering praise, encouragement, and reflections of the faith that anchored her life. Her words, born from prayer and devotion, touched many and will continue to speak life and hope to those who read them.
She will be remembered as a godly woman whose life reflected the love of Christ in everything she did—through her kindness, her prayers, her hospitality, and the way she poured herself into her family.
Ludovina completed her earthly journey with the same grace and faith that marked every step of her life. Though her absence leaves a profound void, her family rejoices in the blessed assurance that she is now at rest in the presence of her Heavenly Father—restored, rejoicing, and eternally home.
Her legacy of faith, love, and poetry will continue to live on in all who knew her.
