Lucy Diaz Rivera's Obituary
Sunday, July 7, 2024 the world lost an amazing person, Lucy Diaz Rivera. Lucy was born January 26, 1935 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to the late Francisco Arroyo and Martina Gerena. She lived a generous life in the service of helping and others. When her health declined 9 years ago her niece Belinda dedicated her time to care for her. Lucy taught her niece a lot and in return she received joy and love.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband and is survived by her children Richard and Sophia, grandchildren Roberta, Ruben, Isabella, Katlyn and many other grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her but let us rejoice that she is with angels and is no longer in pain or suffering.
A viewing is Friday, July 19, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, the funeral will take place at 11:00 am, and committal will follow. Services lead by Pastor Joseph Mitsch.
