Fletcher, Lucille
95, passed away on July 21, 2018. She was born June 12, 1923 in Harvard, IL. In 1942 she married Robert (Bob) Fletcher also from Harvard, IL. They moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1954 where they were very active in the motorcycle community. In 1964 they opened their own dealership, Fletcher’s Harley-Davidson in Clearwater, which they operated with their three daughters until 2012. Besides riding motorcycles all over the country, they loved traveling in their motorhome or flying in Bob’s plane, a Cessna 310. After Bob’s passing in 2012, Lucille enjoyed playing Bingo, coloring and being with family.
She is survived by daughters Peggy McFarland, Sherry Conder (Tom), and Laura Taylor (Jim) and grandchildren Jeanine McFarland, Denise McFarland and Michael Conder and great-granddaughter Zoe Conder.
A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, July 28 at Memorial Park 5750 49th St. N. St. Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an animal charity of your choice.
