Mr. Louis J. Szabo's Obituary
Louis J. Szabo of Largo, Florida, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Suncoast Hospice - Pinellas Park, Florida. He was 70.
Louis was born July 6, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio; the beloved son of the late Louis G. and Frances Szabo. He worked as a locomotive engineer with Conrail and the Central Vermont Railroad in the northeastern United States. Louis retired after 42 years of dedicated service. He was deeply rooted in his Catholic faith and was a devoted member of St. Catherine of Siena Church - Clearwater, Florida.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Szabo. Louis is survived by his son, Jason Szabo; a brother David Szabo (Eva) and his grandson, Anthony Szabo. He is also survived by his niece/God-daughter, Dr. Evanne Thompson (Dr. Travis Thompson) and his nephew, David Szabo, Jr (Angie).
Memorial Services will be held 10:00 am Friday, June 14, 2019 in the Tranquil Waters section of Memorial Park Cemetery, 5750 49th St. N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. Memorial Park Funeral Home is serving his family.
