Lois Maxene Smith's Obituary
SMITH, Lois Maxene, 94 of Kenneth City, Florida, joined her family in heaven on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Born in Dodge City, Kansas, on August 14, 1921 to Edgar and Florence Anderson.
Maxene grew up in Wichita Kansas. She married Wally Smith when she was 16.
She and Wally raised two sons in Wichita, Monty and Steven. They moved to Florida for their retirement years.
Maxene loved to sew and made many clothes for her four granddaughters. She enjoyed reading, crafts, cooking and crossword puzzles. She was a member of Palm Lake Christian Church and was involved with several groups within the church.
Mom had a wonderful full life and will be missed by her family and friends!
Lois is predeceased by her husband, Wallace and sisters Ede and Evelyn. She is survived by sons, Steven (Ann) and Monty; grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth (Scott), Jordon, and Adrianne; and great-grandchildren, James and Elizabeth.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Division W presided over by Pastor Eileen Mazouch.
