Cote, Lionel J. 'Joe', 82, of St. Petersburg died Friday, June 15, 2007 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. Born in St. John's , Quebec, Canada, He moved here in 1951 from Plattsburg, New York. He was a Catholic. He was a retired meat cutter who worked for A&P Food Stores and Publix. He was the former owner of the Sunset Inn on 9th Street in St. Petersburg. He belonged to the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #1697 and the Elks Lodge, Holiday Isles #1912. He was an avid golfer and member of the Tides Country Club. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara; two sons, Michael of Puerto Rico and George of St. Petersburg; two daughters, Sheryl Peters of St. Petersburg and Candace Cote of Pinellas Park; two brothers, Paul Cote and Father Normand Cote both of Plattsburg; two sisters, Aline Cote and Lillian Cote both of Plattsburg; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and five nieces and nephews
