Linda Sue Walker's Obituary
Linda Sue Mann Walker, age 70, passed away on February 6, 2019 at Hospice House in St. Petersburg, FL. She was surrounded by her loving children. She lost her fight with COPD, but continued smiling, and trying her best to continue her battle. Linda was born in St. Petersburg, FL., on September 2, 1948. She resided her last few years with her sister Carol Lee “Carrie” Mann Carr in Tallahassee FL., until October 2019, where she went to stay with her eldest daughter Karen Walker and family.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Penelope Jayne Mann Wildemann, and Father, Julius Albert Mann, along with a half sister Lorraine Crawley Elmgren. She was a proud graduate of Dixie Hollins High School. She worked as a U.S. Postal carrier for many years, along with obtaining her Real Estate Agent License. She was an avid FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLE football fan. She would wear her garnet and gold proudly and do the Seminole chant to bring them victory.
Survivors include her daughter Karen Walker Maniaci (Vince), grandsons Brandon Maniaci and Brian Maniaci, her daughter Shannon Walker, and granddaughter Erin Collier, her sister(s) Carol “Carrie” Lee Mann Carr, Janice Denise Mann Hammond, and Nancy Joann Mann Kuhns, along with a loving son in law Vince Maniaci, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home/Cemetary in St. Pete, Florida 2-3 p.m., with a Memorial service to follow at 3 pm.
