Linda Lee Tomlinson's Obituary
Linda Lee Tomlinson (née Arnold), aged 72, passed away on September 9, 2025, in Dunedin, Florida. Born on March 2, 1953, in Mishawaka, Indiana, Linda was a beloved figure in her community and a successful entrepreneur.
Linda completed her education at Mishawaka High School in 1971 and further honed her skills by attending Vogue Beauty School in 1976 located in Mishawaka, IN and an Electrolysis School in 1998 in St Petersburg, FL. Her passion for beauty and care led her to open Hair in Motion, a popular hair salon in Mishawaka, where she brought joy and confidence to her many clients through her work.
Beyond her professional life, Linda was deeply engaged in various hobbies that reflected her creative and nurturing spirit. She was skilled in crafting, crochet, knitting, sewing, embroidery, as well as cake decorating and candy making, often sharing her creations with loved ones and community events.
Linda's personal life was filled with love and joy. She was married to Joseph Tomlinson on August 31, 1996, in a beautiful ceremony at the groom’s father's house in St. Petersburg, Florida. The couple recently celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary. Linda is survived by her husband, Joseph; her siblings, Judy (John) Lewandowski and Frankie Arnold; her niece, Christel Dorbin; great-niece and nephew, Christian Correll, Ashley (Michael) Wallis, and Cody (Nicole) Dorbin; and great-great-niece and nephew, William and Skylar Wallis, who affectionately called her "Nana Linla." She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Myretha Arnold, and her nephew, James Buck.
