Linda Marie Paullus' Obituary
Linda (Evans) Paullus, 63, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on November 2, 2025, leaving her family and community stunned by her passing.
A graduate of Bishop Ready Class of 1981, Linda married her high school sweetheart, Michael Paullus, of Columbus, in 1983. She was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, Mimi, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Loving, loyal, and hardworking, Linda’s greatest joy was her family, especially her daughters and grandchildren, whom she adored.
Warm, witty, and welcoming, she never met a stranger and brightened every room with her unforgettable laugh and smile. A faithful and devoted believer, Linda was the heart of her family, the caregiver, supporter, and loudest cheerleader at every event. She helped others without hesitation and held her family together as its glue. She loved deeply and was loved deeply in return. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Linda lived life with a big personality in a tiny package and was always the life of the party. She made friends easily, offered a helping hand, and always found a reason to laugh. She celebrated every milestone wholeheartedly and made everyone feel seen and valued. Her faith steadied her; her warmth defined her. Whether at the beach, on a bike, or walking through her neighborhood, she turned ordinary moments into treasured memories.
Though we lost her suddenly, the love she planted in our hearts will continue to grow. We will miss her laugh, her wit, and the way she loved so fiercely. Today we honor not only the life she lived but the love she gave so freely. We will carry her kindness, humor, and devotion forward as her lasting legacy.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Larry and Diana Evans. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Michael Paullus; her daughters Ashley (Michael) Bailey and Allie (Doug) Siegesmund; and her beloved grandchildren, Lofton and Finley Siegesmund. Her siblings Craig (Connie) Evans, Cheryl (Tom) Pitt, Michael (Lisa) Evans, Karen (Lou) Griffith, Lisa (Don) Woosley, Annie (Ray) Heston, Anthony Evans, and Jackie (Erik) Naille; in‑laws Robert and Antoinette Paullus; and sister‑in‑law Julie (Steve) Geise. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of life will take place Saturday, November 8th 3:00pm at Gizella Kopsick Arboretum, North Shore Dr and 11th Ave NE, St. Petersburg, Florida. A funeral mass to celebrate Linda’s life will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, November 25th at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Road, Columbus Ohio.
