Lillian A Traver's Obituary
Traver, Lillian A., 87, of Springfield, died at 1:20 am, Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born February 13, 1927 in Plainfield, NJ, to Thomas and Evelyn Norman Lyons. She married Frederick A. Traver on June 24, 1947 and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1988. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Evelyn Lyons. Survivors include two daughters, Lynn (James) Rosenthal of Springfield and Judith (Trent) Tiemann of Morrisonville; one son, Gary Traver of St. Petersburg, FL; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and one sister, Catherine McKenna of Forrest City, PA. Lillian was a resident of Florida for forty-five years and has lived in Springfield for the past seven years. She was a member of Little Flower Church and St. Paul’s Church in Florida. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, FL. A visitation will be held on Monday the 29th from 10:30am to 1pm, the funeral mass will be at 1:30 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with the burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
