Lillian Stephens' Obituary
Lillian Stephens, affectionately known as "Sis" or "Granny", passed away at home on July 4, 2025, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born on May 25, 1936, in Costa Mesa, California to the late Harold and Natalie Shaw. Lillian was a devoted homemaker renowned for her exceptional skills in cooking, baking, sewing, and embroidery. There wasn't any challenge in the home she feared taking on, from refilling her numerous hummingbird feeders to installing electrical.
Throughout her life, Lillian embraced the adventures of global travel and living abroad with her beloved husband, Jerry, moving their family across coasts and oceans, creating a tapestry of memories cherished by all who knew her. She loved her family, friends, pets (especially Captain Morgan), and most of all, God.
Lillian is survived by three children, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry and one grandchild. Her legacy of love, skill, and adventurous spirit will live on through her family and all the lives she touched.
Details of the memorial services will be announced at a later date and will be held at the Saint Petersburg Seventh-day Adventist Church.
