Lillian Gertrude Eden's Obituary
Lillian G. Eden, born on February 3, 1929 in Lima, O.H and died on May 17, 2018 in St Petersburg, FL. She was preceded in death by her father, Karl Brill, Mother, Kathleen Liess, and Brother, Edward Brill. She is survived by two daughters, Judith Eden and Deborah DeRosa, and two grandchildren, Deanna DeRosa and Justin Fajen. She also left behind cousins Jutta Banze and Oscar & Ulla Kober of Germany, caregiver, Marjorie Monach, and many friends.
A first generation American and woman ahead of her time, Lillian graduated from Hunter College in New York in 1951 with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting. She eventually moved to Florida where she worked as an accountant for more than 30 years for the AAA travel company. After retirement Lillian enjoyed visiting her family overseas and traveling throughout the world, especially with her daughter, Judy. Those who knew her say she had a keen eye and excellent attention to detail but also a quick wit and great sense of humor. She was a kind and generous woman having supported several local charities including Parc and Morningstar School.
A Memorial Service will be held at
Memorial Park 5750 49th Street North, St Petersburg, FL
On Wednesday, May 23rd at 4:00 pm.
