Lilie Broucinkova's Obituary
Lilie Broucinkova, March 25, 1931 - May 16, 2010. Daughter of Ivan Alexejovich Brovcenko and Marie Hoffman Broucinkova. Born near Alexdranovich, Ukraine, passed away in St. Petersburg, Florida. She is survived by sister Lydie Vala of Decin Czech Republic, sister Valentina (Esther) Feldman of Ashkelon Israel, brother Lev Brovcenko of Vologda Russia, sister-in-law Jana Broucinek of St. Petersburg, Florida, and numerous nephews and nieces throughout the world. Lilie loved to communicate with others and maintained close ties with relatives, friends, and colleagues throughout the world her entire life. She was an accomplished artist in the realm of painting, drawing, and cooking. Some of her commercial artwork was used in advertisements for Mass Brothers, a local department store chain. For a period of time she was also employed as a food critic. Lilie devoted most of her adult life to the loving care of her mother Marie until her death in 1995. Lilie will be laid to rest beside her beloved mother. Lilie spoke numerous languages quite well and was not hesitant to let you know what was on her mind in any one of them. Her fiery spirit, her loving caring inquisitiveness, her creativity, her smile, and her Borscht will be missed. Graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday May 22, 2010 at 11am at Memorial Park Cemetery, 4900 54th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33709.
