Smet, Lewis A., 73, of St Petersburg, Fl., passed away Sunday, 1/17/2010. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved from Long Island to St Petersburg in 1976. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Madeline, his daughter Deborah J. Smet, son Michael L. Smet, Steven J. Smet and wife Carol, Paul Smet and wife Sarah, sister Thelma McAlevey, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grand children. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Suncoast Hospice Foundation.
