Leo George Ghianuly's Obituary
Leo George Ghianuly – Age 88, of St. Petersburg, FL. Rejoined his parents on 01/24/26. Born in Bridgeport, CT, Leo was the son of George and Edith Ghianuly. Leo was a Proud Army Veteran. He retired as a Printer and moved to Florida. He began a second career as a painter at All Children’s Hospital. Always a gentleman he was a loving husband, and a generous friend. He was proud of his Greek/Romanian heritage and a stand-in father to his nieces and nephew as well as his children. Leo had a gentle nature, he loved taking care of his garden and propagating beautiful dessert rose plants. Leo was an excellent cook who took great pride in sharing meals with those he loved. He found joy in watching baseball (The Rays) and most of all gathering with family. His home was often filled with good food, conversation and laughter.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30am on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
