Laurentiu "Liviu" Banu's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Liviu Banu who left us on September 5th, 2025 at the age of 63.
Born on September 4th, 1962 in the city of Targoviste, Romania, Liviu lived a life full of love, courage, and kindness. He was known for his generous spirit, his unwavering loyalty to family and friends, his love of fishing,and his ability to bring warmth and laughter to everyone around him.
He is survived by his daughters Alexandra Banu and Monica Banu, siblings Claudia (and spouse Mark) Meixner, Carmen (and spouse Gale) Hoese, Gabriela Pletea, niece Alexandra Hoese, nephews Aidan and Tristan Meixner, and Claudiu Pletea, who will keep, and who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his parents Toni and Cornelia.
A visitation & funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13 at Memorial Park Funeral Home beginning at 12:00pm.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 13th, at 2:30 pm at:
