Lauren Scott Raymond's Obituary
Lauren Scott Raymond (nee Archambault), 67, of Largo, FL passed away on December 11, 2024, of cancer, surrounded by the people she loved most.
Lauren was born in Boston, MA, daughter of Dewey George Archambault, MD and Joan Jean Archambault (nee Scott).
Lauren graduated from Chelmsford High School in Chelmsford, MA in 1975 and went on to attend Simmons College in Boston, MA.
Lauren married Charles Herbert Raymond of Wilton, NH on January 26, 1981, in Pinellas Park, FL. They had two children, Allison Marie (1980) and Scott Gregory (1986). They divorced in 2003.
Lauren worked in Corporate America up until her death as a Senior IT Analyst for Camping World since 2013. Prior to that she was with Integrated Dealer Systems since the 1990s. Lauren loved her work, enjoyed daily challenges, and solving complex problems. She relished in seeing things through to the end, with attention to detail second to none. Lauren was a no nonsense business woman, practical to the end who didn't mince words, and meant what she said.
Lauren especially loved being with family, cooking & baking, flower gardening, traveling and reading her books. Her happy place was Madeira Beach, where she said watching the sunset there was her favorite place to be.
Remaining to celebrate Lauren’s memory are her beloved children, daughter Allison Raymond Frey (Jeffrey) and son Scott Gregory Raymond (Navy); treasured sister Lesley Archambault Stuart & brother-in-law Charles, cherished niece Shannon Bluett (Jenson) nephew Derek Bluett (Kayla), daughter Aria & granddaughter Julia; niece Katherine Murphy Flaherty (John), son Colin Sarmento; niece Elizabeth Bowen (Andrew); brother Dewey George Archambault III; sister Monique Archambault; nephew Thomas Everson (Katie), son Otto; niece Christine Eells (Andrew); nephew Douglas Ashcroft (Aleia); nieces Nia Tantish & Alexis Tantish; sister Danielle Archambault; nephew Mark Ashcroft (Carlee), son Tobias & daughter Isabella; niece Kimberly Rice (Michael), daughter Chloe; sister Nicole Archambault Thomsen; nephew Stephen Spear (Rebecca), sons Connor & Levi; niece Andrea Kierstead (Thomas), son Oliver.
Preceding Lauren in death are her sister Andrea Archambault (1964), mother Joan Jean Archambault (1983), father Dewey George Archambault, MD (2017), sister Michele Archambault (2022) and brother-in-law David Thomsen (2023).
Service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 1:00pm at Memorial Park in St Petersburg, FL.
