Larry Michael Ternes' Obituary
Larry Michael Ternes, 86, of Seminole, Florida, peacefully passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023. Larry was born on a farm in rural North Dakota on September 2, 1937, where he lived until moving to Florida at age 15.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Patricia Ternes; son Mark (Barbara) Ternes and their daughter Melissa (Jonathan) Hewett; son Matthew Ternes, his partner John Hughes, and their son Jordan Ternes; daughter Teresa (Mike) Gillespie and their children Jessica Gillespie and her fiancé Kristopher Eversole, James Gillespie, and Jacob Gillespie; daughter Kim Ternes and her partner Steve Coulson, and their daughter Kryssa (Joe) Gomez; Larry’s son Michael Ternes predeceases him, but his three children Michael Ternes, Megan Parsons, and Justin Ternes also survive their Grandpa; lastly Larry is survived by his five great-grandchildren, David, Layla, Kai, Katherine, and Lorelei, with a sixth great-grandchild on the way.
The family is accepting visitors on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. There will be a committal service at 3:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery, officiated by Father Jonathan Emery of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.
