Larry D. Sommer's Obituary
Larry D. (Lawrence) Sommer 79, of St.Petersburg, passed away on March 6, 2017, under the care of Hospice. Larry was born in Akron, Ohio on March 1, 1938. He was the owner of a Cleaning Business for over 15 years, and was in the U.S. Naval Reserved, Larry loved to study the Bible, write his prayers and loved crossword puzzles. He is predeceased by his parents Virginia Thrasher and Christian Sommer, his grandson Greg Mann and his step grandson Ryan Hite and his brother Fredrick Sommer. Survived by his Loving wife of 29 years Lucille, his children David (Kim) Minor, Donald Minor, Daniel (Sandy) Minor, Deric Minor, Dana Minor and Deborah Minor, 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Lois Sommer, also his 5 Step children, Cindy (Chuck) Hite, Michael (Sarah) Trombly, Marie (John) Randazzo, Karen Davis and Lisa (Samuel) Brightman, 11 step grandchildren, 4 step great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all.
