Larry Kirsch's Obituary
Larry was born March 24, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to Albert G. and Bernice H. Kirsch. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Richard A. Kirsch and Robert G. Kirsch. Larry retired after many years from the Pinellas County School Board. He is survived by his three children, Leslie Ann Kirsch, Matthew Lawrence Kirsch (Linda) and Tiffany Lee Fallaw (David), two grandsons, Charles and Andrew Kirsch. He is also survived by his loving cat, Sugar. Larry is survived by sisters Joan (Phil) Hetzendorfer and Susan (Russell) Cummings, 5 nephews and their families consisting of 23 great nephews and nieces.
Larry was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church since childhood, most recently serving as a Deacon. He sang in the choir for many years, and he volunteered wherever he was needed including driving the church van. He loved attending church retreats at Cedarkirk and attended many mission trips to Honduras. Over the years, he was also a member of the St. Petersburg Barber Shop Quartet.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 1 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon at First Presbyterian Church, 701 Beach Drive NE, followed by a graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
