Kristin Ann LeFevre's Obituary
Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of Kristin, a beloved wife, a devoted mother, loving daughter, cherished sister, aunt, and friend. She passed away following heart surgery on March 2nd.
She is survived by her husband Cory, daughters Katelyn and Aubrey, her parents Kelly and Pam Polson, her sister Kimberly (Kevin) and her family Adelyn, Evelyn and Fletcher, mother-in-law Kathy LeFevre, brother-in-law Jason and his family Jake and Sydney.
She was born in Spencer, Iowa on July 10th, 1982. Kristin was baptized and confirmed at First English Lutheran Church. She knew her Lord. Kristin graduated from Spencer High School and Iowa State University. She moved to D.C. to begin her career, and there she met the love of her life, Cory. They built a beautiful life centered around family and friends.
She was the cornerstone of the family. From holidays to simple get togethers, she had a remarkable way of bringing people together. She was kind, generous and loving to everyone she met. She was the light in so many lives. She loved to entertain and feeding people was something she was passionate about. Her life was a gift to all who knew her.
Kristin was a preschool and kindergarten teacher at Grace Lutheran where she inspired so many. She was active in the church and was the ultimate volunteer; the person everyone went to when they needed something.
Above all else, her greatest joy in life was being a mother to Katelyn and Aubrey. She loved raising them, supporting them, celebrating them, and loving them endlessly.
Kristin was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Don LeFevre and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on March 14th at Grace Lutheran Church. Family will visit with family and friends beginning at 10am, and the service will be held at 11am.
Donations can be made in Kristin’s memory to the American Heart Association or your local food bank.
