I just found out about Kent's passing. We met one year on a Florida vacation when we were both still in high school. We found out we lived near each other in Ohio and dated for a while, and both of us actually ended up living in Florida though we never knew it. He was a really nice guy. Unfortunately we lost contact after he entered the Air Force. RIP Kent.
My condolences to Kent’s family. We met while attending Calvary Church’s singles ministry events in Clearwater in the late 90s and early 2000’s. He was always an encouraging friend to all.
My first memory of Kent was; him wearing a VBS T-shirt helping out with our Kids summer program at church while his was in the midst of cancer treatment!
Kent then became an active part of our 60 ministry at Fellowship Baptist church, He never lost that enthusiasm for life. His constant optimism and love for the Lord drew people to this charming man who never met a stranger or was never at a loss for words.
Kent was loved by everyone that had the privilege to know him. He never let his grim diagnosis discourage him. He was a true blessing and I am thankful I got to know him.
I was his Life Group teacher and his ministry leader. However in the end it was Kent who ministered to all of us and taught us how truly live life.
Kent was a compassionate man full of vision to help others, to better those in need and to lift up the name of Jesus.
We all will miss Kent. He was my friend, but I know through faith in Jesus we see him again.
May God comfort all his love ones that are grieving.

Kent came to our Sunday School class at Fellowship Baptist Church and he was always a delight. He was always smiling and we enjoyed having him as he asked questions when he didn't get what Pastor David said. He always wanted prayer for his daughter Laurie and she was forever on our prayer list. Condolences to the family.
Kent was a friend and Christian brother. He was always kind to anyone he came in contact with and I never heard a cross word. Even as he fought his final battle here, he did it with dignity, bravery, and faith. He will be missed. Steve and Sharon Deputy
Kent was a good man, soft spoken with a wry sense of humor. He had a heart for veterans, especially those who are homeless, and was working to find ways to accommodate them.
He was very likable: always smiling. He was a Man of God who loved to serve others.
