Kathy Jo Bradley's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kathy Jo Bradley, fondly known as ‘Mrs B’, who peacefully departed this world on April 4, 2024, in St Petersburg. She was 75 years old.
Kathy, born to the late Russell and Martha Grant on October 10, 1948, in Zanesville, Ohio, shared a beautiful journey with her beloved husband, Ron Bradley, whom she married in 1973. Together, they embraced life's adventures, relocating to St. Petersburg in 1978. Their enduring love recently marked fifty-one remarkable years of marriage.
Known for her warmth and compassionate spirit, ‘Mrs B’ touched countless lives with her genuine kindness. She never met a stranger nor made an enemy, approaching each day with a smile and offering uplifting words and selfless gestures to all she encountered. Her unwavering faith illuminated her path, as she saw God in everything, the good in everyone, and sought to spread joy through acts of kindness that brought joy to many. Her beautiful smile, comforting hugs, and caring spirit will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her.
Family meant everything to Kathy, and she leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Bradley, and their children: Russell Bradley (Kim), Cindy Monroe (Charlie), Ronica Bradley-Lawson (Shane), and Chris Bradley (Lacy). Kathy also leaves behind her brother, Kevin Grant, along with ten grandchildren Katherine, Pamela, Timothy, Jordyn, Brent, Brandon, Ryan, Tiffany, Hayden, Hannah; eight great-grandchildren Kiygrah, Serenity, Colton, Ashton, Billy, Ketch, Logan, Dakota; nieces Angela, Olivia, Valerie; nephews Aaron, Kevin Jr, Michael, Bill, Dennis; cousins Melanie, Beth-Ann, Michael, Greg, Steve; in-laws Angie, Roger, Nancy, Linda, Rocky, Delores; many other loving relatives and a number of caring friends. She was preceded in death by son Kelly, her sister Melodie, and loving parents Russell and Martha Grant.
Kathy found fulfillment in her professional endeavors, excelling as the Office Manager of the Stein Women's Center and Student Services at Daytona College, as well as owning and managing Boulevard Customs.
In her leisure time, she delighted in spending time with family, cheering on her families motorsports and equestrian passions, and supporting Clemson and Ohio State in college football.
A visitation to honor Kathy’s life will take place on Thursday, April 25th, starting at 5 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, Florida. In her passing, Kathy leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith that will continue to inspire all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
