Kathleen M. Gile's Obituary
Gile, Kathleen M.
89, passed on to Our Lord February 16, 2017.
She lived in St. Petersburg Florida her whole life,
and was preceded in death by her husband James E. Gile Sr.
They were married for 54 years. She had one sister Betty
Brown who she was very close to.
She was a long time member of Childs Park
Methodist Church and St. Luke’s Methodist Church.
She enjoyed singing in the choir for over 60 years.
Survived by her two children, Pamela Peacock and
James Gile Jr., two grandchildren Gevan Peacock Jr. and
Steven Peacock, and his wife Kristin Peacock and
one great grandson Scott Peacock. She graduated from
St. Petersburg High and St. Petersburg Jr. College. She worked
at O’Brien Motors and Gile Optical as a bookkeeper.
She loved to travel and spend time at the “River”,
and loved having cats as part of her family.
She will be deeply missed.
