Julie Marie Fitzgerald's Obituary
Julie Marie Fitzgerald passed away at home in St. Petersburg, Florida, on the evening of May 8th, 2025. She was born on October 13, 1963, in Lynwood, California and lived a full life.
Julie is lovingly remembered by her husband, Barry Fitzgerald; her children, Zachary, Anna, and Katelyn; her grandchildren, Oliver and Lily; and her soon-to-be-born granddaughter, Eleanor. She is also survived and remembered by her twin sister, Jennifer Knuckey, and her brother, Donald Knuckey Jr.
Julie was a medical coder by trade, but she considered her most important role to be raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a curious mind and a broad interest in many topics, often sharing facts and stories she picked up from the History Channel or National Geographic. She enjoyed crafts, including creating hand-beaded Christmas ornaments that are still appreciated by many, decades after she made them. Julie could also often be found sitting on the front porch watching the birds or feeding the squirrels with her grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life is being planned by her family and will be announced at a later date. Julie will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
