Judith Christine Dieter's Obituary
Judith Christine Dieter, born October 28, 1949, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 8th of this year. A devout Christian, Judith was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother whose life reflected faith, compassion, and creativity.
She earned two master’s degrees from the University of Michigan and devoted her career to special education and kindergarten, where she touched many young lives. Judith had a deep love for painting and gardening, and her passion for art took her on several trips to Europe—especially Italy—where she painted.
For over 30 years, she cherished annual trips and camping on her property in St. Thomas, a place that brought her great joy. Judith was married to Alan for 14 years, and for 12 of those years they were sunbirds in Punta Gorda, Florida. She especially loved her time in Shell Creek, where she made many dear friends and built a meaningful community.
Judith is survived by her children, Ben, Jess, and Rachel; her stepchildren, Tonya, Daniel, and Christa; and 14 beloved grandchildren. Her warmth, faith, and loving spirit will be remembered always.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 19th, 2026 at 3 pm at New Day Christian Church located at 20212 Peachland Blvd Port Charlotte, FL 33954.
