Juan Jose Rodriguez's Obituary
Juan Jose Rodriguez, also affectionately known as Cuco, to his hometown friends, was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 11, 1966, to Carmen Vega and Juan Rodriguez Sr.
Juan joined UPS Delivery Services in 2002, and for more than twenty years he showed up and proved what dedicated, supportive, and hardworking really meant. Juan moved to sunny Florida 8 years ago and continued his career with UPS.
Juan carried his hometown pride with him, even after moving to Florida. Spending Sundays with his aunt, uncle, and cousin; watching football (Go Birds!) and creating memories around their dinner table or enjoying many vacations with them.
If Juan was not with his family, you could count on finding him at Salty Soul Island Grill every weekend enjoying time with his friends. When Juan made his way back to Philly, you would find him catching up with his B4L crew. He made many friendships throughout his life that he considered to be his family. All of the memories that Juan created will truly and deeply be missed by his family, friends, and coworkers.
Juan is survived by his daughter Ashley, Brother David, Sister Natalie, Aunt Nitza, Uncle Jose, and Cousin Jose Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmen and Juan Sr.
We honor a life well-lived and promise to keep his spirit alive in every shared meal, every football cheer, and every act of genuine friendship. Cuco showed us how to welcome others with open arms, and that bright example remains his lasting gift.
