Juan Aviles' Obituary
It’s with a deep sense of sadness that we announce the passing of Juan “Tito” Aviles on September 7, 2022, at the age of 90 after a long battle with Parkinson’s.
He was born October 7, 1931, in Manati, Puerto Rico and had residences in Brooklyn NY, Edgewater NJ, Cincinnati, OH and St. Petersburg FL. A profession in the leather manufacturing industry, retiring as a drafter and designer of many products from Agora Leather. He was a longtime member of the Iglesia Bautista Redencion de Tampa, FL.
Anyone who knew Juan saw how proud and how much he loved his family. Preceded in death, son Juan “Vito” Aviles, and survived by his loving wife of 69 years Mercedes Aviles, daughter Sylvia Aviles, son Juan “Luis” (Janet) Aviles, grandchildren Erin (Chris) Niehaus, Michael (Britney) Aviles, Lehman Noviello, Ayla Aviles and Emma (Austin) Eibel, Benjamin Watters and great-granddaughters Gabrielle, Billie, and Juna.
The family also wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the many friends and family, and Empath Health for their assistance with the care of Juan.
Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to serve the Aviles family. The family will be holding a service for close family and friends on September 17, 2022 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral
