Joshua received degrees in Culinary and Arts. He really enjoyed putting together a good meal for his family and friends. While he took cooking serious, he also had a fun manner with food which led to a food fight in Mc Donald’s with his sons mother Jessica, they were covered in lettuce and tomatoes. His favorite food was moms tuna casserole and chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. Joshua could always be counted on to throw down with his sister Corina for top chef. He took pride in his skills.
Joshua loved the color blue, would rarely wear any other color. Blue bike, blue clothes, blue towels, blue Cadillac everything was blue. Although he disliked the color red, he made sure to build a custom bicycle that was Red for his son Jordan, because that’s his favorite color.
Joshua was a master at building and engineering custom bicycles. He even once managed to build a bike with wheelchair tires and rode it all the way from Port Richey, Fl to St. Petersburg, Fl over 35 miles and those tires held up.
Always innovative and looking for new designs.
Joshua enjoyed collecting antiques and restoring them back to life. Very meticulous and diligent. Once he started on a project, he would work on it for days on end until completion. Got to love that dedication!
Joshua previously worked at St. Pete Scrap yard before his injury that lead to blindness in his left eye. He really enjoyed seeing all the unique items that came in there. Constantly coming up with new ideas on how to use some of the pieces.
Joshua had hopes of having his own bicycle shop and traveling. When he was younger he was able to take a road trip across America to the Grand Canyon, always talked about the fun times he and Billy had and a little of the bad luck with their car and rental car breaking down.
Unfortunately Joshua’s life has been drastically cut short and he will only be with us in memories and spirit but forever in our hearts. Watching us from above and being Jordan’s guardian angel.
He will be missed dearly as he was a loving son, father and brother. Go In Peace with the love we send💙🦋
