In Loving Memory of Jose Eusebio López
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Jose Eusebio López who passed away unexpectedly on March 16th. He is survived by his mother Lilia, wife Paula, stepdaughter Gina, sister Carmen, nieces Vivian, Olga, Annie, and Megan; nephews Timmy and Robby along with great nephews Gavin and Oliver, and all of their extended families.
Jose was a man whose presence left an indelible mark on all who knew him. While his journey on earth has come to an end, his legacy of resilience, entrepreneurship, and unwavering determination will forever remain in our hearts.
Jose was a complex man, fiercely proud and unyielding in his convictions. Yet beneath his tough exterior lay a heart of gold, brimming with love for his family, friends, and his beloved Dallas Cowboys football team.
He found solace and joy in the thrill of the casino, the tranquility of fishing on his boat, and the companionship of his little dog, Titi.
As a businessman, Jose's entrepreneurial spirit knew no bounds. From humble beginnings he built a legacy of success alongside his business partner and wife Paula. Together, they ventured into various businesses, including the Pandora Jewelry Store, where they achieved remarkable success.
Even in retirement, Jose continued to innovate, opening Mobility Plus, a business specializing in scooters, and devices aiding in mobility.
Jose was a pillar of strength and mentorship to many. With a fatherly presence, he guided and supported those around him, leaving an indelible impact on their lives.
Notably, Jose shared a special bond with his stepdaughter, Gina Olivero, whom he loved like his own daughter and helped raise since she was 14.
Jose was born in Havana Cuba, and and when he was a child he and his family fled communism. His journey to freedom exemplified his resilience and determination, and here he embraced every opportunity with tenacity.
His dedication is evidenced by his 30-year tenure at US Airways, where he spent so much of his life and made so many lifelong friends.
While Jose may have been strong-willed at times, his infectious humor and zest for life endeared him to all who crossed his path. His laughter echoed through the halls of our hearts, reminding us to cherish every moment and embrace life's adventures with gusto.
As we mourn the loss of a beloved husband, father, uncle, son, brother, and friend, let us celebrate the extraordinary life of Jose Eusebio López.
May his spirit live on in the cherished memories we hold dear, and may his legacy inspire us to live each day with courage, passion, and love.
