To the family. Each month, my husband & I and Helen Wegner from The Salvation Army, St. Petersburg, do a ministry program at Apollo Nursing Home. Each month, Jonathan came to our services. We were blessed by his life. He would bring his own CD's for us to play. His favorite song was "One Day at a Time". He enjoyed singing and praying with us at each visit. Jon was a good friend. I visited with Jon with the Homebound Ministry at 5th Avenue Baptist Church, and he was always so glad to have visits from his brothers and sisters in Christ. He loved his bible, our prayers, and the literature from our church, and I believe he really felt a part of us still. He will be missed by all.
We loved and appreciated Jon. Our prayers are with the family.
We became more closely acquainted at Men's Prayer Breakfast on Monday mornings, and I enjoyed his good humor very much. We all will miss Jon very much.
