John F. McIntosh's Obituary
John F. McIntosh, 89 of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017. He was born January 10, 1928, in Urbana, Illinois, to Charles and Iva McIntosh. John proudly served his country in the Navy. He was a draftsman and structural engineer for well over 30 years. John is survived by his loving and cherished wife, Marjorie, to whom he had been married for 62 years. He also leaves behind his devoted daughters, Heather (Jake) and Sharon (Alann); as well as his brother, Virgil; nieces and nephews, and friends. John was a faithful member of the church of Christ and held positions including treasurer and elder for many years. He was a founding member of the Skyview Church of Christ. John will be remembered as a devout Christian and family man; and a friend with a quick wit and enduring kindness. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, September 19, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery with the funeral to follow at 2:00 PM. Flowers are welcome; however, donations may be made to Florida College in Temple Terrace, Florida.
