John D. Koop's Obituary
Koop, John D. passed away Saturday, July 13 at the age of 78. Preceded in death by his wife, Amalia. The brother of Kim, loving father of Sylvia (Tony), Mona (Ray), John (Lynda) and Jackie (Tony). Grandfather of A.J., Kayla and Michael Venuto, James and Feliza Zwissler, Ryan, Jessica and Wyatt Koop, and Dimitri, Tara and Niko Gianapolis.
A career US Army Sergeant First Class, John served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam, stationed for many years in Germany, retired to Florida and then Las Vegas, spending the last years of his life in Florida. He loved to spend time with his family, fish and play Bingo with his wife Molly. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.
