John Karlo Mendoza Villa's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Karlo Villa; beloved father, grandfather, and husband. John passed away peacefully on May 28, 2024 at 88 years old. He was surrounded by his family and friends.
Born in the Philippines, John grew up and moved to the USA where he would excel as a professor and eventually as a health care provider at the Bay Pines VA Hospital. He was a proud member of Jehovah's Witnesses.
John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marcia Villa, his father Francisco C. Villa, his mother Florencia Mendoza Villa, sisters Natividad Villa, Salamia Gonzales, and Edipola Santos. He is survived by his sisters Rosalina Villa Ngirarsaol, Elizabeth Candelaria, Eunice Recheungel, Francisca Villa; his brothers Alexander Villa, Francisco Villa Jr.; his daughters Rebecca Mosqueda and Rose Marie Durden; his grandchildren Niko Mosqueda, Gabriel Mosqueda, "White Rice" Durden, "Brown Rice" Durden; many nieces and nephews, and his brothers and sisters from Skyview Kingdom Hall, especially Chic Albright and Larry and Tonoah Farrar.
A memorial will be held on Sunday, June 2nd at Skyview Kingdom Hall at 4:00 pm.
