John Louis Huber, born on May 21, 1926, in Hinsdale, Illinois, peacefully passed away on October 15, 2023, in Largo, Florida.
John was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Florise Huber, his beloved wife, Ruth Huber, his brother, Fred Huber Jr., and his sisters, Barb Weisbecker and Jean Hartung.
He is survived by his son, Kurt Huber, and daughter, Nancy Hartley. John's legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Elizabeth Bischoff, Danny Hartley, Ashley Huber, Lauren Huber, K.J. Huber, and Riley Huber. He also leaves behind four great-grandchildren: Taylor Bischoff, Austin Bischoff, Isabella Hartley, and Landan Hartley.
John's life was marked by admirable service to his country, having proudly served during World War II in the Pacific as a member of the Navy. He also demonstrated his unwavering dedication to his community as a firefighter with the Hinsdale Fire Department.
Currently, there are no formal services scheduled. John Louis Huber's memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved him, and his legacy as a devoted family man and a selfless servant to his country and community will live on.
