John E. Hoisington, 98, was a native of Michigan, born in the city of Detroit. He served our country for three years in WWII, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant assigned to the Army of the European Theater of Operations (ETO). H Read Obituary
May God give you and your family Peace and Strength. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Hoisington in 2016 when he attended a fundraiser Dinner Cruise for cancer survivors that I was hosting. He looks so much like my dad Alexander Fraley who passed in 2009 at the age of 82. They are now both Rejoicing in Heaven.
I was his first great granddaughter i remember going to visit him every summer and swimming he was so close to my heart. You will be loved forever and missed so much.

My wonderful grandfather. He was such an enjoyable man to be around, everyone loved him. I have a lot of very fond memories with John. He loved to travel and I was even on 4 cruises with him. After my grandmother Hazel passed we went on quite a few adventures together. Our first one was to Key West to visit his niece Sandy and her husband Ken, we had a great time and they were wonderful hosts. We went to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon, visited my sons Daniel and Brandon, including Lisa Brandon's wife. I will miss him dearly. Love you Grandpa.
