The family will miss you both very much. We have been blessed to have been a part of you and Barbara’s lives. We will miss your great stories John and your humor.. Barbara we will miss your wise advise and your wonderful company. You both were very important in our lives. We will miss you both terribly. What a wonderful man John was. He was way more than a friend to me. I was but 7 years old when my father died. John and Barbara were like family to my family during the aftermath of this tragedy. Several times John took just me out deep fishing and to other events a boy my age would enjoy. I will always remember him treating me like a son and I certainly needed that attention.
