Jack was always a great friend, even though he called me an "old bat." He had a great, but dry sense of humor. I had planning with Jack and a few other teachers at Dixie Hollins back in the late 80's. He once referred to me as a "chick" to which I responed, "I'm not a barnyard fowl." Jack shot back with, "ok, you old bat." I said, "Thank you." I attended some of the Christmas parties that Jack and Mignon (sp) had and always had a great time. The two of them made everyone feel welcomed. I feel blessed having know Jack and will keep his memory close to me. Mia Sadler
