Mrs. Johanka "Jean" Kozar's Obituary
Kozar, Johanka "Jean", 101, of St. Petersburg passed away peacefully on Sept. 6, 2015 with her daughters present. Jean was born in Drifting River, Manitoba, Canada on Feb.23, 1914. She was preceded by her husband of 64 years, Feodor (Fred) Kozar, sons-in-law Orest Michaluk, Gregory Griggs and 10 siblings. She is survived by her daughters Shirley Michaluk of Calgary, Alberta and Jeanette Griggs of Tucson, Arizona. Grandson Ryan (Shelley), great grandchildren Heather and Ross Michaluk of Calgary, Alberta. Sister in law Anne Chyz and extended family. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff of Lexington Health and Rehab Center where she was a resident for the past 19 months. Trisagion Service will be held on Fri. Sept. 11th at 7 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 49th St. and 54th Ave North. Funeral Service will be held at St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 9201 - 60th St. North on Sat, Sept 12 at 10 am. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
