Joan B Bickford's Obituary
Joan B. Bickford went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, February 2, 2023, as gently and lovingly as she had lived her life, which covered 82 years. A loving, faithful wife, mother, and grandmother with an infectious smile, she leaves behind only the fondest of memories with those who knew and loved her. Joan was born in Clearwater, Florida, and graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1958. She worked for Allstate Insurance for several years, and later worked for the St. Petersburg Times for 24 years, retiring in 2004. An accomplished seamstress and quilter, she also enjoyed collecting antiques and Carnival glass. She was a member of Starkey Road Baptist Church, and is survived by her husband of 61 years, William Bickford, a daughter, Jacqueline Ricottilli (Raymond), two sons, William Bickford, Jr., and Brant K. Bickford (Heidemarie), one sister Barbara J. King (Richard), five grandsons, and two great grandchildren.
The service is Saturday, February 25, at 10:00 am at Woodlawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested contributions b made to the Starkey Road Baptist Church Planting program.
