Jimmie Douglas Richardson Sr's Obituary
Jimmie Douglas Richardson, affectionately known as "Papa Donut," passed away on December 27, 2025, in Dade City, Florida, at the age of 83. Born on December 12, 1942, in St. Petersburg, Florida, he spent his life loving his family, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He was a lifelong member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union first in Florida, Local 111 and then in Vermont, Local 693. He was an avid collector of knives, tractors and other antiques. He loved all of his finds and treasures.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, and his son, Jimmie Richardson Jr. (Bonnie) and his grandkids, Sarah, Emily and Austin. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Carol. His grandkids from her are Michael, Zachary and Rebecca. His step-daughters are Stacy and Stephanie, grandkids, Jordan, Randi, Mariah, Donyae and Daisha. His presence in all of our lives brought immense happiness and he will be deeply missed.
The services to honor and celebrate his life will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 5750 49th St. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33709, on January 6th, 2026, at 12pm. Following the graveside service, a Celebration of Life will take place at Radius Church, 165 13th St. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33705.
