Jeffrey Scott Tuthill's Obituary
Jeffrey Scott Tuthill of Bushnell, originally from St. Petersburg, entered into eternal sleep on July 25th, 2015 at the Lane Purcell Hospice House in Sumterville. He was only 49 years old.
Jeff was a bright light with an infectious laugh with family and friends. He was a true native Floridian and loved all that Tampa Bay had to offer. He graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in 1984. He was the youngest child of Archie and Helen Tuthill. He is survived by his sister Laura Castagner and her husband Mike and their children, Danyel Hiersche, Steven Hiersche(Shanon), Jared Hiersche, Joe Castagner(Jennifer) and Nicole Castagner; brother Gary Tuthill, wife Bernadette, son Christopher Tuthill(Lana) and Chris’s mother Kathy Jonas and their families. Not to be left out Jeff’s four legged companion his loving dog Carmella.
Jeff has been an employee of Walmart for more than 20 years and was an Assistant Manager at the Walmart in Tarpon Springs. He loved the people he worked with and his store Manager Alexis Portela. He loved to spend his free time with friends and working in his yard.
Jeff had a way of lighting up a room and making people smile and laugh, with a quick sense of humor and having the time of his life. He was happy with the muscles he was building from working out and was proud to show anyone who wanted to see what a hard body looked like. He loved the way he looked and felt, the people he worked with, his friends, he had it all going on and couldn’t have been happier. I would say that is the one thing we all would love to be able to say when it was time for us to leave the life we’ve had her on earth. God you now have one of the good guys!
We will miss your smile and laugh Duffy! You will truly be missed and we love you.
Please reach out to his sisters Laura and Kathy and his brother Gary to show your love and support during this difficult time.
Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery will host all of the services for Jeff on Saturday August 1st (8/1/15). Visitation/Viewing at 9am, Funeral Service at 10am, burial in the Garden of Serenity Falls around 11:30am.
