Jeffrey Donald Conaway's Obituary
Jeffrey Donald Conaway, aged 71, passed away on January 9, 2026, in St. Petersburg,
Florida. Born on September 28, 1954, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Jeffrey spent his life having fun and enjoying the simple things that life has to offer.
Jeff was known for his deep love of NASCAR racing, with Rusty Wallace being his
favorite driver. He would attend almost every single Daytona 500 race there was and on Sunday afternoons, the TV was reserved for the race. Jeff would spend lots of time on St Pete Beach at his favorite bars, the Nepa Hut and the Undertow, and would enjoy the company of his best buddies. One of the best qualities Jeff had was that he always kept in close touch with all his old friends and definitely valued his lifelong friendships. He would always mention that friendships took work to maintain but it was always worth the time and effort. He also made sure to remind his children to slow down and enjoy life and to seek the fun in their everyday lives.
He was truly a genuine person, never seeking to impress others. His greatest pride and joy was his family. An extremely proud father to his sons, Ramsey and Aaron, and a loving grandfather to Kennedy, Trent, Parker, and Emersyn. He would light up at the sight of any of his grandchildren and truly enjoyed being their “Pops”. Jeff’s legacy of love and friendship will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
Jeff’s life was a testament to the power of staying true to oneself and valuing the fun that life has to offer. He will be profoundly missed as a loving father, grandfather, and a true friend to many. His memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him and his memory will live on through his family and closest friends.
