Janet Sylvia Vondracek's Obituary
Janet Sylvia Vondracek passed away peacefully Saturday morning February 4, 2017 in the care of Hospice at Winter Garden Vitas after a yearlong battle with duodenal cancer and non-hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Jan was born Janet Sylvia Kent on October 28, 1939 to George and Anne Kent in Liverpool, England. Jan lived in Ontario, Canada as a young adult and married Joseph Vondracek, Jr. They had two children Jennifer Moulton of Apopka, Florida and Jonathon Vondracek of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Joseph and Jan came to Florida in 1970. Jan was a nurse for 37 years and married for 47 years until Joseph passed in 2007. Jan is also survived by her son-in-law James Moulton, Jr., grandson Blake Joseph Moulton and his wife Laura Kathryn, granddaughter Brooke Jennifer Moulton and two great-granddaughters Callie Jane and Camille Janee Moulton whom she loved to play games with for hours at a time.
Celebration of life will be at Liberty Baptist Church 9401 4th Street N. St. Petersburg, FL at 4:00 PM followed by a dinner reception.
The Family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support in many heart felt forms from so many beloved friends.
Her favorite scripture is Psalm 23.
