Janet E Topping's Obituary
Janet Lima Topping (79), raised in Lexington Massachusetts, passed away from ALS on December 2, her loving family at her side. Daughter of her departed parents, Francis and Frances Lima of Lexington. She is survived by her husband Edgar Topping. Her daughters Karen Manley Sousa and Kristen Manley Fiato and son-in-law Michael Fiato of St. Petersburg, FL. Her grandchildren, Joey Sousa of Orlando, FL and Kathryn Sousa of Jamaica Plain, MA as well as her sisters Nancy Lima Steede of Otisfield, ME and Kathleen Lima Powell of Bushnell, FL. She is also survived by her stepchildren and grandchildren: Carol Ann Martin and her children Jonathan and Daniel of Safety Harbor, FL, Dennis Topping, wife Janet and children Dennis and Tricia of Wilmington, MA, as well as Ronald Topping and his wife Judy and children, Ronald Jr, Brian, Jeffery, Kim and Chris of Tewksbury, MA and two deceased stepson's Eddie and Kevin. Janet was the heart and soul of her family sharing her talent and passion for sewing and quilting. Her beautiful works adorn the homes of those she loved. The funeral will be held on December 22 at Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 5750 49th Street North, St. Petersburg. Her ashes will be interned in her family plot at the Calvary Cemetery in Waltham Massachusetts during the spring. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ALS Association or Suncoast Hospice Foundation.
