Mrs. Janet "Jan" Burrill-Grant's Obituary
Burrill-Grant, Janet S., 69, of Treasure Island, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Friday, June 25, 2010. Jan was the nucleus of her family, always providing strength, guidance, encouragement, and lots of love. Jan worked in the medical, dental, and chiropractic fields. She loved her patients, who affectionately called her "Miss Jan." She graduated from Columbus Indiana High School and Indiana School of Licensed Practical Nursing. She was a past St. Petersburg Yacht Club "Salty Sister" , a member of the Treasure Island Tennis and Yacht Club, and she was a past Majorette in the Second Time Arounders Marching Band. She is survived by her husband Marvin, sons, Kevin, Ed, and Steve; daughter-in-laws, Kristy, Roberta, and Kris; grandchildren, Zachary, Alexandra, Chase, Jamie, Abbie, Alex, Sam, and Ben; sisters, Donna, Barbara, and Linda. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home: 5750 - 49th St. N. St. Petersburg, FL 33709 on Tuesday June 29, 2010 from 10am until the funeral service at 11am. Interment will follow immediately after in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Jan wished donations be made in her memory to: Ovarian Cancer Research Fund
